
Sasha Logie joined the GICHD in September 2020 as an Advisor on mine action standards. He works on the planning, implementation and monitoring of mine action standards related activities to promote understanding of and adherence to International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).
Sasha Logie previously worked with the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) as a Senior Programme Officer in South Sudan for three and a half years, and later headed the UNMAS Palestine Programme for a further three years. He has also worked with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the British government.
Sasha Logie's academic background includes an MA in International Politics from SOAS, University of London, and a BSc in International Relations from Keele University, England.
