Mine action programmes
Namrita Singh joined the GICHD in September 2019 and currently works in the capacity of the Grants Administrator. In this role, she ensures that donor requirements are fulfilled, and that donor liaison is coordinated efficiently across the organization. Namrita works closely with donor stewards, HoDs and programme managers to support the implementation, compliance, and reporting of grants, all in alignment with GICHD’s strategy and processes.
Previously, Namrita served as a Programme Officer in the Standards and Operations Division at the GICHD. She supported project management and contributed to the project design, research, as well as field visits and capacity enhancement initiatives in EO affected countries.
Before her current role, Namrita gained experience in various organizations, including CARE International, United Nations Economic and Security Council in Geneva, BRICS International Forum, and the Government of India.
Namrita holds an MA in International Relations with a focus on Conflict and Security Studies from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, along with a postgraduate diploma in Women’s and Gender Studies and a BA in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi.
