Danielle Payne

Programme Officer


Danielle Payne joined the GICHD in February 2022 as Programme Officer. In this role, she works closely with the Head of Division, the Deputy Head and the Advisors to support the implementation and administrative aspects of various projects covered under the Division. This includes the planning and implementation of activities, donor reporting, budgeting and the development of project proposals.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Danielle Payne had been working for the International Organization for Migration in Côte d'Ivoire with a focus on cross-cutting programme support as well as on the specific topics of border management and counter-trafficking. She also previously worked on emergency preparedness for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva.

Danielle Payne holds an MA in International Relations from the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. She also holds a BA in International Studies from the State University of New York at Cortland.
