Mine action programmes

Carole Chedid joined the GICHD team in November 2019 as Grants Management Officer.  She engages and supports the grant management and donor relations structure to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and to enhance fund analysis reports.

Carole has 13 years of experience in humanitarian assistance. Prior to joining the GICHD, she worked for the UN World Food Programme (WFP) as Finance Associate /Admin and HR focal point consequently as Budget and Programming Officer. She worked several years for the Suisse Foundation for Demining (FSD) in Lebanon as Senior Project Assistant where she also managed and organized the administration, finance and the overall logistics of the Lebanon office.

Carole Chedid holds a BA in Business Administration (Systems) from the Arab Open University in Beirut as well as an International Diploma of Humanitarian Assistance from the Centre of Health and Cooperation(CIHC) in Geneva.
