Strategies, Performance and Impact
Christelle Mestre currently works as an Advisor and provides support to explosive ordnance-affected and donor countries with developing, implementing and reviewing their mine action strategies. Christelle initially joined the GICHD in October 2018 as Programme Officer with a focus on project management and donor relations. She also provided thematic support on residual risk management and mine action standards.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Christelle Mestre worked for six years with Interpeace, an international peacebuilding organization, where she coordinated country programmes in Guinea-Bissau and Sweden as well as programme development efforts in South Sudan and Myanmar.
Christelle Mestre holds a Master’s degree in Socioeconomics with a focus on Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Studies and History from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
