Head of Directorate

Ms. Pallavi Paudyal joined the GICHD in October 2025 as the Executive Coordinator of the Director. In this role, she supports the Director and the functioning of the Office of the Director, coordinating high-level meetings, strategic initiatives, and relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Pallavi worked at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Geneva, where she held roles in governance, strategic partnerships, and senior leadership support. Earlier in her career, she worked in Nepal in the fields of human rights and development, building expertise in research, project management, stakeholder engagement, and capacity development.

Pallavi holds a Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance from the University of Geneva and an LL.B. in International and European Law from the University of Groningen. She is fluent in English and Nepali and has working proficiency in French.
