Standards and Operations

Kinda Samra joined the GICHD in September 2020. As Programme Officer in the Standards and Operations Division, she supports the Head of the Standards and Operations Division and Advisors in managing a range of projects. This includes support in project cycle management, assisting in preparation of workshops and conferences, and contributing to the preparation of policy guidelines, toolkits, and training material.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Kinda Samra completed several internship placements at Swisspeace, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) office in Beirut, and Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB), an organization that develops safe and legal pathways for refugees through global private sector employment.  

Kinda Samra holds a BA in Political Science from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a minor in International Law, and an MA in Human Rights, Transitional Justice, and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
