Faustine Auger joined the GICHD in June 2022 as Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) Programme Officer. In this role, she provides substantive, organisational, logistical and technical support for the implementation and management of the EORE projects and contributes to the Centre’s efforts to raise the profile of EORE globally. Faustine also serves as Secretary to the EORE Advisory Group.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Faustine Auger had been working as Protection Officer for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Côte d'Ivoire, focusing primarily on protection assistance to vulnerable migrants and counter-trafficking. She also previously worked with Forum Réfugiés-COSI, a French NGO supporting migrants, especially asylum seekers and refugees.

Faustine Auger holds a Master’s degree in International and European Law from the Catholic University of Lille (France) and the Mississippi College School of Law (US). She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Modern Languages from the University of Nantes (France).
